We’ve just recently finished a little project with this awesome band – Beautiful Country. It was such a great experience to work with them because not only are they fantastic writers but they can really play. It’s quite rare these days to find bands who can perform great live takes one after the other. It’s partly because bands often replace the rehearsal studio with their home recording studios when working on material and as a consequence they don’t have as many hours of actually playing together as once they might have. But these guys were so great in that respect and really open to letting me do my thing, even if that meant that they had to wait for me to tune the snare, change the amps, change the pedals or whatever. They’re everything a band should be, check em out, Beautiful Country.
